Itoyo Folios vs Itoya Binders

This is a very personal choice, I will try to layout the differences and pros and cons for each use.

Itoya Binders - Pros - Each new Binder comes with 11 pages, they come in multiple sizes although the recommended size for a standard cel with BG is the 11x14 size, the binder covers themselves are super thick and can actual be stood up on their own with out flopping over.  Basic dimensions are, 13.2 x 1.8 x 15.1 inches, it weighs 2.4 lbs, and is very sturdy.  One of the other nice things about the binders is that you can purchase extra pages to add to the binder.  Based on my personal experience the max amount of pages you want to add to the binders are about 24 - to fit anywhere between 24-48 cels.  I recommend you stick to one cel per page so that you can make use of the most convenient features of the binders, the ability to move cels around your binder without removing them from the sleeve, and you can keep your cels organized the way you like without too much pain i.e. I prefer to organize my cels by season and then episode, so that I can lay my hand on a piece at any time within five minutes or so.  Binders also have more options for storage you can buy a blanket hanger to hang them in your closet causing your cels to naturally have no pressure on the paint cause each cel will hang in it's sleeve individually with out putting pressure on the others, or you can store them upright in a bookcase as long as you don't keep them in a crowded bookcase causing pressure to be put on the paint.  Major Con - The price, for a new binder set up 1 new binder, page refill, and blanket hanger, costs about $50.

Itoya Folios - Folios are where I started when I first started collecting they are cheap and can be found in abundance all over the interwebs.  They are little less sturdy but are still good enough for a smaller collection, you should not really keep more than 24 cels in a Folio at a time especially if you have a couple backgrounds and larger cels cause the folio causes the pages to bend at the binding and will bend the cels in the folio that are sitting close to the binding like oversize cels and backgrounds.  Recommended size is again 11x14, for most standard cels with backgrounds.  Pros - Cheap and good for a smaller collection, when I made the switch over to binders I saved my folios for my growing sketch collection.  Cons - not as sturdy and won't stand up as straight in a book case, the more cels you have in the folio the more the binding will bend, and the more cels you have in the folio at one point the folio cover will start to bend, because surprisingly enough cels are heavy.

These are my thoughts if anyone has anything else to say that I have forgotten please let us know.
